    does bulking make you less defined?? help thank you

    alright so im bulking up and ive went from 125lbs to now about 155-156lbs and since ive started my abs have been slowly becoming less defined and looking worse? once i get to 170 im going to cut back to 160 will that make them pop back out? and make my muscles more defined??

    yes, bulking adds weight toyour body, and adds fat % so tht fat will cover your muscles, when you cut you loose that fat, causing your muscles to show more and be more defined.

    when you're eating in excess you're bound to gain some bodyfat. cutting back down will give you the cut look.

    yeah they'll be less visible but you have to sacrifice that if you want to get bigger. Good progress aswell bro keep it up

    this, but honestly OP dont waste your time in small cycles of bulking and cutting, unless you've reached your goal size and just want more definition. At 6'1, 160 is gonna look pretty small

    alright cause right now im eating every 2-3 hours about 6 full meals a day and small meals to try and stay full. im putting on alot of weight and not much of it is fat im eating chicken and rice mostly trying to keep it clean. (working so far) so once i get to 170lbs i have an intense cardio workout, because im the marines DEP program and its like an hour of none stop cardio training 3 times a week.

    well ive bulked from 125lbs so a 55lb bulk is alot of weight i only want to be maybe 180-185 max

    OP I suggest you think in terms of the long run. Bulk to about 200 and then cut like 10-15lbs. Your going to have much more mass and still have abs. Although personally Abs mean nothing to me.

    op me and you seem about the same size weight height ect.... trust you want to be more than 170 pounds.... Im 170 pounds now, since im bulking atm, i want to get to 190 then i should be quite big by then, you should set the same goals bro.
