    Olive oil and gaining weight?

    Would it work if I spoonfed myself with olive oil before bed, haha? I wanted to stack up on fat rather than carbs as carbs will make me put on loads of waterweight which I don't want - I want clean weight.

    So would olive oil work? Quick and easy.

    The taste of it on it's own isn't too great imo. You could however make a salad and semi drown it with olive oil which would taste pretty good.

    Well, it's not really designed to be taken in spoon form so I can't vouch for the taste in that delivery method, but try cooking with it and you'll be happy.

    Taking it like medicine sounds gross....though maybe I'm just out of the loop. Teenage lifters seem to be drinking brown rice, drinking oats, and drinking oil left and right.

    olive oil wont help you gain weight. I mix that into my pwo shake while cutting

    get plenty of protein and slowly up your carbs


    Also, Ive actually heard that eating before bed can cause the body to reduce the amount of growth hormone produced at night...not sure if its true though

    had 2-3 table spoons of EVOO a day, veins and vascularity disappeared, stopped take EVOO and vascularity is coming back.
    i noticed no benefits from it. srs.

    Caloric surplus = weight gain. Olive oil is irrelevant to this equation unless it puts you in a caloric surplus.

    Solid answers man, appreciate you're making a stand against broscience! aha

    I think I'll go for olive oil.. I eat a lot of peanuts but we run out, so olive oil should do the trick - it's pretty damn calorie dense.

    I would go with a fruit smothie made from all fruits over olive oil.

    As stated above a caloric surplus will give you a weight gain.
