    Yup. Those don't require the stabilization that any standing row does. I really like chest supported rows, and will use them if I feel beat up, the the bang for your buck with BB/Pendlay rows is too much to ignore.

    Yup. Not worth the price in a home gym IMO, until you have a GHR, rack, power bar, ssb and plenty of weight.

    I agree about the rows it just feels like they're almost too taxing after all the other stuff powerlifters are already doing.

    I didn't quite understand why the 5x5 program had very little assistnace. But after benching and squatting, doing heavy sets of BB rows was awful.

    They can be, but they can also be a great benefit when properly programmed. I don't feel too taxed hitting rows after front squats, but I sure don't like them after squats or deads.

    Only 3 months? I've had my single prong for a while and it's still pretty stiff.
    I need to start breaking it in while I'm watching tv or something. It's a little restrictive for deads.

    I am assuming. I can created some awesome belly pressure that should break it in pretty fast

    If it is an issue for deadlifting, I will use my Spud belt until the leather is worked a bit.

    Yeah....I heard that the 13mm are quite a bit different when it comes to break in. Not too worried though. Just happy I can have full confidence in the belt for the rest of my training days.

    *Pretty big PR on the farmer's today. Previous best was 245 x 80' and this smoked it. My grip slipped when I picked the handles, so the first 60' was pretty much hanging on in the fingertips. Repicked and finished the course.

    *Took me forever to get the 300 lb keg lapped, but once I did, it felt ok....but my posterior chain was absolutely shot from the farmer's walks. These suck by the way.

    *Stopped here. Absolutely toast at this point.


    Twas a good day. One of my training partners made it about 40' with a 375 farmer's walk, then went about 200' with the 300 lb keg. Definitely motivating to train in that environment.

    *Wasn't feeling it today. Something with my setup just felt off a bit. I think my grip was closer than last week, but either way, the end result wasn't terrible. I was only about an inch or two away from locking out the second rep.

    Alright day today. Pretty exhausted as I got up at 3:30 am to drive from visiting gf to work. Not cool (especially since it was the third time in 7 days). Deads for tomorrow are off the books. I am going to attack them with all I have on Wednesday. My normal Thursday training will not be held as I will be attacking the log on Saturday pretty aggressively. I am starting to think that pressing 3x per week is having a negative impact now, so I will evaluate my split after Saturday.
