Lower Body
Deadlift
*Work to heavy single. Back down to 70% for max reps.
Warmups
*Add Belt
315 x 1
365 x 1
*Add Straps
405 x 1
435 x 1
455 x 1
475 x 1
335 (~70%) x 19
*Beltless with straps. Were touch and go, but not bounced.
Felt really good pulling today. I tweaked my belt settings and change my starting position a bit. Everything, including the 475, flew off the ground. That has never really happened before. The backdown set left me seeing stars....
Front Squat
*Work to heavy double
275 x 2
295 x 2
315 x 2
325 x 2
*I was pretty tired from the deads, but was able to better my goal going into the day by 10 lbs.
Chest Supported Row SS with Shrugs
90 x 15/225 x 20 (3 sets)
*For the yoke.
Probably the best I felt in a long time. I had every excuse in the book yesterday to have a sh*tty session. I left my precooked food at home, had no breakfast as I was running a bit late to work, ran out of protein, legs were tight from Saturday, only had four hours of sleep, yadda, yadda and yadda....
With all that said, I am shifting upper body work to only one day a week. The second day I will still squat and maybe some light SLDL type stuff, but the press will be hammered hard.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

There were two guys that wanted to use my area and the bar for deadlifting after I was done. One is a National level bodybuilder. He is a week post contest and ended up working up to like 365 for 5-6 reps or something....anyhow. After I release the bar, he said, "well I am about to feel like a p*ssy". I laughed quite a bit there.
I did want to lay down after that....sucked pretty bad.
Especially when the front squat double was 10 lbs lighter than the single I hit last week. If you want to get stronger, gonna have to lift heavier!Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593
