300 x miss
300 x 1 (very solid load)
Very good day of events for me. Yoke was smooth, but not very fast. Driveway was icy, so caution was practiced. Farmer's hold sucked, but went ok. Wrist hurt a bit, but nothing much to whine about. Stones were absolutely awesome. Went very well.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Thanks....it was a good day for me. Take my word for it.
No clue. I train with a crew that has a "homemade" yoke. It is 6" pipe on the base and uprights with 2" square uprights and 4" (I think) cross member. Very solid and sturdy.
That load was great. Felt awesome. The hold on the other hand is gonna have to get 3-4x longer in short time.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Interesting. For my first comp, I trained with a yoke that was ~130 lbs empty, pretty shaky. That was a bitch loaded up to 700, but at my show they used a yoke that was ~350 lbs empty, very sturdy. Made a world of difference, actually ended up with fastest time.

Yup. This one is 305 empty. Very nice to move with.
Yeah, but 275 is a pretty easy pick for me. I have to maintain grip at the higher weight too and my hand position changes on some heavier picks....but yeah....will train different weights for time.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

But but butt RipToes says that's not how you're suppose to grip...

Video from last Friday's strict pressing. Pretty easy, but I noticed on set two that I wasn't locking out every rep. I need to do that. Tried to reinforce that through the remaining three sets and I think that is apparent on set 5.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

RE Press
BB Push Press
185 x 3
225 x 3
255 x 3
275 x 2
225 x 9
*Goals here were 275 x 3 and 225 x 10, but I also wanted to observe wrist pain. It hurt like a b*tch, especially on the 275 set. I had the strength, but had to modify the rack position a bit to alleviate some pressure on my wrist and I got out of position at the top. Oh well....next time.
CG Floor Press
185 + 80c x 8
195 + 80c x 8
205 + 80c x 8
*Tried to pause these a bit. Last set was hard.
DB Incline Bench
85 x 12 (3 sets)
Single Arm Band Extensions
*Both arms at once.
Monster Mini x 15 (3 sets)
Good day overall. Wrist hurt quite a bit with the overhead, but not with the benching.
