football sundays
I am just wondering if I am the only odd one that wakes up as early as I can on sunday mornings and works out as long and as hard as I can so that I can just sit on the sofa watch football and eat crap for the rest of the day.

I wake up at 4:30am 5 days a week and work out as long as hard as I can. On sundays mornings I usually wake up and read stupid threads.

My friends and I call Sunday 'Bum Day' during the NFL season. Yessir, couch sitting and football. Morning workout(like all my workouts) so I can see the kick-off of the first game. Although usually I have to get up at 6 to get my workouts in, on Sundays I get to sleep until 7:45!
Work harder, smarter, and longer - overtraining is simply a state of mind.

Ha, I don't either. Although, I'm probably gonna re-up my subscription now that the NFL/NCAA is back on. This is why you have friends who have large tvs and comfy couches

I'm the odd one....I watch maybe 1 game on sundays, and that would be the Seahawks. And I do homework during that time or something productive. I cannot give up a whole day watching t.v. ....I just couldn't do it.

Eh generally, it's not a whole day devoted to tv(at least for me). I usually take my laptop, type up notes, read over lectures, and catch up on reading during half-time/game breaks. Is it productive as if no games were on? Probably not, but I also do enough work throughout the week that I can let myself watch a little more tv on sunday... considering I watch a total of 0 hours of tv the rest of the week.
Also, sucks that the only game you watch is the sh!tty seahawks

More drinks & less lights
Charter just got RedZone channel. Needless to say, I barely left the couch yesterday. I don't know how I watched the NFL before it.

Am I the only one that finds the NFL increasingly boring? Maybe its because Im a Hawks fan and cant sit through an entire game anymore, but theres 32 teams all running the same ol boring stuff. The creativity and excitement happens so much more on Saturdays anymore. The NFL has really been diluted and less of a game.

I can't say I agree completely. I do agree that NCAA>NFL, but there was some pretty damn exciting football yesterday.

The SNF game was intense, but that was just because the score was close at the end. Youll find that in the WNBA if a game is close. I just mean the lack of forward thinking has really stalled the development of the game. I was actually impressed with some of the run packages that the 49ers showed, but other than that is always stuff you've seen a million times over. Maybe thats just the nature of the league, but it only seems to be interesting after the 2 min warning.
And I could just be jaded because my team has sucked for so long, but Im surprised that I would rather spend all Saturday vegging out and not sunday anymore

Speaking of football...watching the Chiefs makes we want to kill myself. I thought after last year they had a chance to be good, but I think I'm watching the worst team in the league right now, by a long long shot. Lions absolutely ripping them without a problem.
Let me amend that. I know I'm watching the worst team in the league.

Thanks, we really should be 2-0 but had a bit of a blunder last week against Cincinnati. Who's your team?

Chiefs brah. Like I say they make me suicidal. I've never seen such incompetency in all facets of the game as I saw today against Detroit. My angus is fully prepared for a 1-15 or 2-14 type season.
