Just curious, are thre any women out there who are vegetarian and do not take any supplements who have successfully followed this way of eating while gaining muscle?

What do you consider a supplement to be? I am vegetarian (well, ovo-pescetarian: so fish and eggs but no dairy whatsoever) and I do just fine, but I do supplement with 1 scoop of protein powder (Gemma pea isolate from True Protein) per day. I write up my daily eats sometimes on my blog (Squat Like A Lady) but I do think if I didn't have such issues with soy and could eat it once a day without reeeeally paying for it, I wouldn't even need the pea protein powder.

Have you read Vegan Bodybuilding by Robert Cheeke? It contains several diet plans.
