Hey all -
I seem to have a stuck SI joint. If I forcefully kick my leg around, I can almost get it to pop back into place, but I don't be able to seem to quite get there. Short of seeing a chiropractor, what can help put an SI joint back into place.
More importantly, what exercises help keep an SI joint in place? I imagine mine got out of place because of muscle imbalances, so what muslces should I be stretching and strengthening to keep my SI joint where it should be?
Thanks for the help!

do you know what a "stuck" SI is? what movement is actually being restricted? how do you know that your SI isn't moving? that's very interesting.
As for what to do - focusing on muscles mayn't be the best place to start. You may find that simply taking off your shoes, or wearing thinner soled shoes helps your body move better (a lot of reasons for this), and so your SI starts to move more freely because your brain is getting better info from your fett.
We're complex systems so making specific recommendations is tough but in general,
- own the capacity to move every joint in your body at range of motion and different speeds
- practice owning your balance (standing on one leg at a time with closed eyes is a great place to start)
- practice your vision - vision is a skill; it's cognitive. poor visual skills means performance shuts down.

bottom line: get a movement practice for joint by joint work every day - not only will it work better body control it will build better maps in your brain of where you are and what your options are for moving.
this is as simple as starting with your shoes: do they pass the twist and squish test:
