Usually something really fatty like PB&Co chocolate dreams, or some ice ream with some pecans on top. I found a frozen bag of pecans I cracked In the bottom of my deep freeze so I've been munching on those non-stop!! I can't wait for the pecans to start falling again

It varies depending on what I feel like eating, and what's left of my daily macro requirements to fill. It can be anything from some cottage cheese with picante sauce to a steak, baked potato and salad. Sometimes I'll eat some ice cream, other times, a half-can of smoked almonds. About the only thing I don't bother with is any kind of supplement powder.
No brain, no gain.

For me, cereal. Easily my favorite pre-bed comfort food. That feeling of milk sliding down the eso****us in a sweeping wave of peristalsis, being chased down by the bolus of soggy cereal....
If I hit the pillow immediately after spooning the last bite, I fend off gravity and prolong this bliss a few more seconds. As it settles into the stomach, I'm sent off straight to dream-land.
I will eat a 3000 calorie dinner and still toss and turn unless I make myself a bowl.

you will put on weight eating anything before bed ONLY if you exceed your caloric intake. broccoli will put weight on just as fast as mcdonald's. inform yourself on proper nutrition. your body doesn't know the difference between chicken, turkey, pizza, veggies, etc. etc. etc. that being said I prefer ice cream before bed.

didn't mean to sounds rude about that. just wasn't aware of it being a good before bed food. just presumed ice cream was bad for u thats all. well on my day of i normally have things like a burger or pizza, big packet of crisps, ice cream, brownies. stuff like that just to treat myself. how does it work with having it before bed then? feel like a right idiot now, brilliant....

Yes, eating food will put on weight..
Drinking water will put on weight..
Based on your last couple of posts, I think you need to read the stickies to get a better grasp on nutrition. Eating ice cream at night make you fat. Eating over highly maintenance for an extended period of time will make you fat.
Excess calories of chicken & broccoli will make you fat

Let's say a person is cutting at 2,800 calories. If this person has consumed the protein & fat minimums at 2,500 calories for the day, they could still eat 300 Calories of ice cream, or a cookie or whatever and still be in their calorie deficit. Sure, you'll gain water weight, but it all evens out
