    Sit Ups VS Crunches?

is there much difference between them in terms of effectiveness?

and am i doing something wrong, because when i do either of these i feel it working my upper abs more than the whole of them?

    thanks.

Sit ups utilize a lot of hip flexors. Crunches are easier to keep tension on the abs.

People feel it in the upper abs more w/ this exercise. You'll want an exercise that rotates the pelvis up while trying to keep the torso fixed will be better to feel it in your lower abs more.

As the proud owner of a solid 1 pack I can definitely say I prefer crunches. I can also say I done them totally wrong for years until watching some of scoobys videos on YouTube I love that guy. (no homo)

Is no homo to love Scooby, though I hate that gnome.

Big red I am wondering how you were doing them wrong and how Scooby helped you.

I have been thinking I should do some crunches maybe hold some light dumbbells. Wish I had decline board that is arched.

Was more or less doing as many as I could and kind of swinging them out. More or less seeing abs as a necessary evil and basically going through the motions. Not to quote him but I believe he gives a bit of advice on going slow not pulling with your hands on your neck and basically trying to send your nose to the ceiling. Again I'm paraphrasing...and yes that gnome is such a *******! On a side note have any of you guys tried making his protein bars that look like poo, they're great!

i cant wait to try it on my next core session. its basically a isometric crunch with a leg raise, so simple but it looks effective.

    repped back.
