back of cereal says 1 cup =1 serving how big i mean the standard cup how big should it be. and the tablespoon too how big is a table spoon im not very familia with those terms

Go buy a set of measuring cups (they should have them at walmart), they're not expensive at all. 1 cup is 240 ml in terms of volume.

you should get a scale instead, measuring cups should only be used for liquids

any scale that measures in grams, if you look at the nutrition facts of the cereal it will say how many (g) is in a serving. i used to think it was ok to use measuring cups until i got a scale and actually measured it, it was nearly double the serving size!!Originally posted by aserecuba

That's actually a great point, Pinoy! For example, a 70 cc scoop of protein is about 25-28 grams. But the same size scoop of dextrose is about 50 grams-I know beacause I weighed them before.
