Thanks-I was hesitant to do 2 scoops, I may try 1.5.

Wow.. Awesome job with the workout and the run as well. You are doing amazing work. I think two scoops is a great idea but try 1 1/2 first before going straight to 2 scoops.

It's all right-could be better, thanks for asking, guys . I think running gently on it was easier than an hour demoing barbell lunges would have been.
Food porn(kind of):
Found this new mix at the health food store, 84 calorie muffins. Not sure how good they'll be, but I'm testing them out. They did this weird deflating thing out of the oven:
They have to cool for 2 hours. The macros in them are good, though-if they taste okay they might be an excellent treat.

Hey Mary - things are looking awesome in here - loving the food pics. I would graduate your JUGGERNAUT dosage slowly. I started at 1 scoop and increased to 1 1/4 and maxed out at 1 1/2. I went a long time at this level until I just cycled off this week - ready to pick things back up Friday and will start at 1 scoop + 1 scoop of ConCret.
Keep up the awesome work Mary!Certified Personal Trainer

The muffins were terrible. All you taste is psyllium husk.
I'll just add today's macros to this post as opposed to bumping my log:

Still doing 1 scoop of Juggernaut first thing in the AM, I am planning on increasing it.
Glutamine MTX before bed, this time, in my shake.Last edited by fittness93; 09-22-2011 at 04:42 PM.

Deb, I gotta agree with you! The most I've done at one session is 8 sets of 12 or 8 sets of 13 and would be exhausted afterwards! I'd like to try again now with the juggernaut--thinking that would make a big difference, but still don't think I could come anywhere close to fittness 180 pushups! :-) Great work, girl!!! :-)

The ankle is not cooperating this morning, and the one 5k I always run(church sponsored) is a week away, so unfortunately I had to scrap my leg day today. That's also the area that needs the most work, so I'm disappointed. I'm going ahead and doing the exercise bike because it's not going to impact the ankle.
Thanks! I never really thought it was that impressive, I just do 20 or so in between lifting sets? But thanks!

Thanks for the encouragement! We're a poor church in an economically challenged area. This 5k and the festival it accompanies is pretty much all that keeps us going. In our area, the only food pantry is run by all of the religions and groups in the area(such as the Veterans, etc), unfortunately with no State support. I do feel pressure to perform

Wow i can totally see the pressure you are under. Why won't the state help though?? That is just weird in itself. Try to take it easy on your training so as to not make it worst. If you do run I hope you do well and don't get hurt at all. make sure to use Icy Hot on it if you can and take Motrin or some other anit-inflammatory as said by others. Hopefully you have yourself a good weekend.

Thanks for the support! Illinois is broke. We had ol' Blageovich as governor. No moolah left for food pantries.
I did 30 on the bike,15 on abs yesterday. Taking today instead of tomorrow for rest day in the hopes of hitting the legs hard tomorrow. Ankle is a little better today so hopefully tomorrow it's on like Donkey Kong!( yes, I am truly that nerdy, don't even get me started on the horrible casting of Famke Jansen as Jean in xmen,lol-still bitter all of these years later )

Keep Iceing it and def kick up your fish oils (I do 7 to 8ooo mg a day but if I i feel pain in a joint ect I kick it up around 12 to 15ooomg a day, and all the pain goes away ( You'll smell and taste fish oil but you'll heal lol)
Good job as I said before on the Pushups (I love doing those) try to increase those between set Pushups (remember progressive resistance stimulates muscand strength increases, not staying stagnant)

Ankle is better, not 100% but swelling is down, doubling fish oil seems to have helped. 1 scoops of Juggernaut pre-workout really came through today, I got a decent leg workout even though I couldn't hit them with heavy weights:
20 x 3 chair lunges
30x3 one legged squats
30x3 calf raises
25x3x50 leg extensions
15 x 2 x 50 standing leg curls
50 deadlifts with just the bar
50 squats with just the bar
15 minutes abs
30 minutes on the bike
No macros this weekend, several family functions and work functions. Tiny portions of things I cannot identify, much less describe.
Back in complete control of diet tomorrow. Yay!
Tonight before bed, one scoop of Glutamine MTX
