    Getting back into heavy weights

Hi, I havent pushed heavy (by my standards) weights for a while now, mainly due to injury and partly to motivation. Now that these problems are gone I was wondering what would be the best way to get back to my old strength level.

For example i used to be able to squat 4 plates for a few reps but now im not sure I could do that once, max would be around 360-375 right now, and I could bench around 300, and right now it would probably be around 250-260. I was roughly planning my training for the next year, and told myself 3 to 6 months would be a good time frame to get back up there. I was wondering if doing SS, starting pretty low and working alot on getting back perfect form would be a good idea to ease back into the heavyweights. I could just also do a normal, rep to failure kinda split like I did for a looong while, or maybe some kind of 5x5 program. Any suggestions from people who have been in the same kind of situation?
    ~460/~320/510 pr's

    fun pr's
    deadlift 340 x 15
    squats 245 x 45

    6' ~220

I'd use 5/3/1 and start off relatively light - you will still be challeneged by the last set regardless of teh weight on the bar, and keeping it light will keep you injury free till your body catches up.

I'd to an SS type program to quickly get back to your old strength, possibly even surpass it a little before you have to switch up
