For those who have big calves

Ok, I want only the guys in here with distinguishable calves. I don't care how big they are just as long as you consider them distinguishable to the rest of your leg. So anyways... HOW THE F**K DID YOU GET THEM TO THIS POINT? how did you train? High, low rep? My calves won't respond to anything

I have big calfs, and the reason is: I used to be a fat (But still athletic) kid.

I max out all the machines at my gym, except for the leg press. On the leg press I calf press 770x10
That token nice big guy @ your local: Rave, Party, Concert.
Enjoying life while I do not have alot of responsibilities.

Back to lifting, dislocated knee is healed.

pictures? im willing to bet you have high insert calves which are harder to train than low insert. mine have gotten bigger recently after smashing the sh*t out of them on leg days.
try doing 5x60 standing weighted calf raises

I definitely have high insert calves. I'm 6'5" and my legs are freakishly long. So would most of ya'll say calves respond better to high reps? If so, what rep range?

Slow low reps, high reps, as long as you go to complete failure.
Dropsets, supersets, partial reps, forced reps. The idea is to shock them everytime you train them. Never train them the same way twice in a row.

What the **** am I reading? Not this bull**** again, Jesus. You can't "shock" your muscles. They aren't sentient, living creatures. You can train them the exact same way for as long as you want as long as you are increasing weight and getting stronger.

16.5" Calves here. Train them twice a week, using hack squat machine and leg press machine, doing high reps.

It's mostly genetics though, and you can't change much about that.

Awesome article. Height and size and even ethnicity has a lot to do with it. Asians often have very developed calves with little effort.

I have big ass legs and calves, my whole life id play soccer so my legs always got a huge workout.
Every chick in my school digs my legs lmfao, no lie...

Id say use the leg press and maybe go to a local field and kid the ball around a little with a lot of force.
