I find it shocking in such a developed country there is so many religious people.

In northern Europe barely anyone is religious apart from minorities. Obviously east Asia is the same as well accept they haven't really got minorities there. America really in an anomaly when it comes to it. Give them a few more generations and I'm sure they'll catch up socially.

Most of us really aren't that religious. Most people that I've met are only culturally christian. Rarely do I ever encounter an actual religious person.

- god creates the garden of eden
- lets adam and eve live there (can create the entire universe but needs a rib to make a person, lol wut)
- forbids them from eating from the tree of knowledge (keep your subjects ignorant)
- tree of knowledge will provide enlightenment and unlock their true potential (seems like a good thing)
- satan also known as lucifer (translates to lightbringer) convinces them to break free from their realm of false consciousness
- god punishes mankind for not living in a state of oppressed ignorance.
