Plain cheese. Or cheese with hot pepper flakes. The best was when I was in France and they had the spiced oil on all the tables. I guess I could spice my own oil, but that would require forethought and a desire to do something productive. That's just not me.

I guess you could say I am obsessed with pizza!
I love pizza so much, I built my own traditional wood fired dome stone oven....cooks neopalatian style pizza, 90 seconds at 1000deg right on the bricks. Nothing better....
Outdoor kit is still not totally done...have to trim out the cols...etc and build the two islands and cabinets for the built-in grill and sink/prep area.... always something to do!
Here are a few pics of const...

holy crap. can you adopt me?
I'm an equal opportunity pizza lover, there are very few types ill turn away. I tend to stay away from the pan/thick crust pizzas, just too much bread. I've found one with dominos thats a thin crust, white cheese, beef and spinach. yum.
and there is a mexican place that has my number. they have nachos con carne there that are layered, hand made tortilla chips, pretty good cheese/meat, topped off with a dollop of sour cream and guacamole and a mexican flag. One order will easily feed 2 people. so good i damn near need a cigarette when im done.

Thanks guys! The oven is awesome to cook in.... It also makes great roasted chickens....and bakes wonderful artisan style breads. Once you fire it to temp, about 1.5 hrs... you can cook all day.. (different things as you let it cool)
Reason I have not totally finished is below is the other half of my project from last summer. I did it all myself....layout, design, lots of the const with help from friends and contacts... As you can see...landscaping still needs finished too!

Thanks man...but still a bunch of work left to finish.
Still have to trim out the columns, top out chimney, I am running copper roof accents on the sloped part of the chimney and oven, a bunch of stone to run .>>>AND build the two side cabinets, grill station, sink, and built-in frige!
THEN....it will be done!
Here is a rendering I did when planning..... You can see the trapezoidal cols...and all the cross slats on top I have not added yet. (ignore the structure in the right on the pic...orignally it was going to be a covered hot tub...put a pool in instead)

Pizza pron thread...good stuff.
For me, cheese, lots of black olives, pepperoni, and anchovies. Load 'em on and I'm good to go.

Thanks again guys...(and gals ) Pizza night sounds good! I just need to make sure I am in a 'bulking' phase so I can really enjoy it! I can eat at least two of them. Very light and tasty. The dough I use is my own recipe that I developed for a while with a blend of hard winter wheat and semolina...actually has pretty good protein content!
As for my favorite....just a sliced roma tomato, olive oil with roasted garlic, topped with homemade mozzarella and fresh basil. Nothing better in my book!
No...never really thought much about adding value.....Probably would have never done it if I did that! ... Housing market is so in the crapper (houses losing 1/3 their value) that there is probably not much that will help. From an appraisal stand point...I WAY overbuilt. Truth be told, if I were to have paid retail to do all the work, it would be close to 6 figures including the (not yet finished) outdoor kitchen and the pool. Being in construction, doing most of the work myself and with lots of good friends, I will probaly have about half that in it...when totally done. We moved here so our kids will be in a neighborhood and have a fun childhood with friends around. We are planning on being here for at least the next 10 years so some things you just do without worrying about resale....I am sure it wont hurt when we sell....but you would have to find the right buyer that would appreciate it as well.RAW lifts

Induced, sweet setup! I'm more than a little jealous.
As far as pizza goes, I like all types of crusts and so long as it's all meats and cheeses on top it's all good. My favorite pizza ever is found at this little place In Vitorio Venetto, Italy called Genero's. None of the toppings are placed on until the crust is baked in the brick oven. Crust with olive oil bakes for a few minutes, comes out and the toppings are added and typically it's basic stuff such as 1 type of meat and cheese or your choice of veggies. For myself it's all about the dough/crust and the sauce, screw either of those up and it's going to be a crappy pizza. Anyways this place had the best pizza I have ever had anywhere.
2nd best was some place in New York, was near Corning I think and the name was Jimmys. Had a huge inflatable gorilla on the roof, we had a white sauce pizza there and it was delicious.
