Does anyone have experience with Alden shoes? Need to pick up a pair of boots, was thinking of stopping by my local shop.

I will be honest and say that I'm slowly disliking that watch, but it's my only white option as of right now until I acquire something new. The belt is more subtle than it looks. Perhaps the color contrasts of the picture accentuates what you believe to be a "guido" look, but I'm the furthest thing from that category. Thanks for the input man. Cheers.

This x2. Apples to Oranges. You're comparing two different things. You carry a cell phone around not wear one around your neck.
Unless you're female you shouldn't be wearing a bracelet. A watch is the only accessory you should be "wearing". And none of those livestrong bracelets please, thanks.Sperrys & Polos

Jewelry, including bracelets, looks better on some people. I don't wear much because it doesn't suit me well. Some guys can pull it off, but nobody should wear a dick-ton of jewelry, ever.

Agreed. If a watch can be considered an "accessory" then that's the only one a guy should wear.

Looks sharp.
I used to have that exact pair of sperrys, but I wore them to the bar one night. Bought a friend of my a shot (which had flavor in it he couldn't stand) and he threw up on the bar, consequently wiping the vomit off the bar and down onto my brand new (wore them the 1st time that day) white sperrys (his vomit was red cause he had some cranberry juice in a drink).
Was bert starin hard. Couldn't hate though, was his 21st and he was pretty blasted before the shot.Fitness Journal:

Just received my new AE Winthrop drivers in chilli brown. I drive a lot so it should make it more comfortable on the pedal.
Lmao my brother just bought those pants yesterday too. He may be working for a cruise line soon and he plans on wearing it on the boat. Stylin' as a mofo.
Also, pics of gf.---

EMartNJ you are a whore for those reps, lol
I'm sure you made the conscious decision or addressed it already, but why these instead of the Bean boots? Anyway, choice would be based on how you plan on wearing them. You live in the north so I'd go for the 8". And it looks better imo, fits the aesthetic of a proper snow shoe and you can tuck in your pants during a storm. Never was a fan of the ankle version even for the Bean boots, either the loafer style or the tall style are the best choices.---

You're the whore because you responded for my reps! But I think they look better than the Bean boots and I can wear them without socks. I like that the toe part is leather and I don't like the color of the leather on the Bean boots.
EDIT: Also don't like the color of the sole on the Beans and most importantly I don't like to have the same things as everyone else. Like my blue Sperry Billfishes that they don't make anymore! So it goes...

out·fit [out-fit] Show IPA noun, verb, -fit·ted, -fit·ting.
noun
1. an assemblage of articles that equip a person for a particular task, role, trade, etc.: an explorer's outfit.
2. a set of usually matching or harmonious garments and accessories worn together; coordinated costume; ensemble: a new spring outfit.
I'd say that the majority of clothing choices you'd see in this thread are "a set of usually matching or harmonious garments and accessories."
Yeah, calling it an outfit might be a little homosexual, but at the end of the day that's what it is.-LUMH

Hey Guys...need some help here. I've never really been in on this sperrys and polos stuff until I saw this thread (first time) and I got pretty interested
I went to nordstrom rack today and after an hour I finally found a pair i like...here it is:
I got the khaki color cause Black obviously wont look nice on white/tan skin and green and light blue etc were a little extreme for me
I feel like all I can wear with these are khaki shorts/pants......can someone throw me in a direction? where can i find slim/fitted khaki pants..or any other nice pants at a decent price? thxLast edited by maustro; 09-11-2011 at 07:38 PM.

this may have been addressed in one of the previous SP threads... but aware me on the type of fabric needed for a good button up shirt. not a brand, but type of fabric. i hate that every button up i buy ends up wrinkling the second i put it on no matter how much i iron it... and i have yet to find anything that is "wrinkle free" that actually doesn't wrinkle. I hate having to wear suit jackets all the time just cause I hate my shirts being wrinkled
