I can't wait to play it. I'm currently replaying Deus Ex before I get into Human Revolution. I'm in paris right now, damn I missed this game so much. I have maxed out rifles and and low tech weapons. I either snipe people from afar with the silenced sniper or just one-shot them with the dragon's tooth.

I just landed in Montreal, and I haven't killed a single enemy thus far.. not a bad game at all.

I focused my augs and approach on hacking and stealth, but ended up hitting a wall near the end of the game, where solid combat becomes almost a necessity.

Don't waste your time with the combat rifle, for any reason. I put all my upgrades into the shotgun, and got a tranquilizer rifle for non-lethal encounters. Silence the machine pistol, or 10mm for silent lethal attacks, and you're good to go.

The game was amazing and I loved it, but the developers must have been high when they created the boss battles. Completely out of the game's element and ruins it if you're playing a stealth/pacifist campaign.

I did every side quest except for one (Talion A.D. is the achievement for it) with a full stealth/no kill playthrough and beat it in 22 hours according to Steam.

depends what $50 is to you. a college kid might not swing it, but someone with a full time job could do it easily.

i think its awesome so far, just did the part with the police station...tried to stealth it until cops surrounded me and i had to shoot my way through.

theres a sewer grate that goes right into the morgue,

otherwise to not kill cops you have to use invisibility stuff

I was thinking about getting this, but the second one sucked and ruined it. I was waiting for reviews. The first one was absolutely amazing in my opinion. I loved the open style of play where you could solve the same problem many ways. Is the new one the same or is it more linear?

Last boss sucked ass for me because I went to a LIMB clinic before the mission >.<, beet him by chucking a frag and unloading 500 energy from the laser cannon on him
I realized that I only used typhoon 4 times through the whole game and felt very dumb for carrying 10 ammo around for it the entire game, felt like an ass.
If you up your energy, recharge, cloak, and capture(hacking) you could get through this game without a kill no problem, will buy for PC on steam when it goes on a <=$20 sale.

An 89 is pretty good and there will always be reviewers who give it lower scores just to be those type of guys. Most of those 95+ reviewed games are overrated and many people think the reviewers get paid off.

not really either a game is worth the money or its not shouldnt matter how much money you have. i havent played the game yet it looks decent but i see some thing in some of the trailers that looks like the developers got lazy and im not sure if its worth $50. is there a demo out?

The original is better as is most of the games at that period of time but this one is very good. I like Human Revolution a lot despite it's shortcomings.

I have it but havent had time to play it. Wake up at 5 am for work. Come back around 2 pm got class 5:30pm-9:45pm. I get home around 11pm and go to sleep right away. I can only play it on weekends.

I <3 my combat rifle. Took out a couple of the bosses with it, it's pretty beast with the tracking/silencer combo. That said the 10MM is my baby with silencer/AP/Laser. And where is combat necessary besides boss fights? I always found alternate routes.

It's so so good, only played about 3-4 hours so far but im loving it. It's like Metal Gear Solid + ME2, love everything about it so far so glad i picked it up.

Im a Deus Ex newbie so dont understand whats best to spec into but im trying to be stealthy where i can with the occasional bit of ass kickery, i love conspiracy theorys and all that jazz so it ties in well. The little snipets of info you find in the newspapers for example make the game great, and present a few situations which could actually happen. Great stuff and so far 9.5/10 for me easily!

It's nice that it's a challange as well, you die pretty dam quick and im only on the "Give me a challange" difficulty, if your on the fence then pick this up!
