Non-Stim Pre-Workout Suggestions.

Hey folks,

Currently going through a phase where I'm trying to cut out all stimulants. I was taking TOO many, and am currently just trying to eliminate them for a while, to see how I feel. The only thing I presently take, that has a stimulant, is Jack3d. Just wondering what I can take as a pre-workout, that doesn't have any caffeine in it? Would I be better off just throwing together a mix of like a B-6, B-12, and some amino's? If so..which amino's are ideal? OR, do they already sell a pre-workout that's stimulant-free? I appreciate any assistance folks may be able to offer!

Dymatize C/F Xpand was ok, the taste kind of got to me towards the end. I will probably give Ultima or Clout a shot next

I've used pump-bol and Ultima with solid results. Pump-Bol tastes like f'ing Tang. I love it. Ultima tastes like a flat mountain dew.

I want to try Hemavol and Man body octane next. I'm also anxiously waiting for the caffeine free Focus XT and stack it with
some agmatine.

I would def give hemavol a look; a highly under-rated product that has always gotten great, consistant reviews. I have yet to really see a negative review on the product; tastes amazing and comes in both pills and powder depending on your preference.

Try PSN Power Shot preworkout drink (Mark Philippi - strongman). It's stim free.

I'm probably going to make my own consisting of Citrulline Malate and Genomyx Protocol. Protocol is marketed as a post-WO, but has a great profile for a stim free pre.

Superpump Max has caffeine and oxytopis in it. Oxytropis is a new stim. I feel that I don't get used to the stims in it b/c of the Oxytropis. It works everytime and this is coming from someone who was over 500mgs of caffeine per day. Plus there is a ton of recovery nutrition in it. You don't need a non-stim pre with this formula. You can have the best of both worlds in a way i.e. take MAX with stims and not get used to it. Also, it will get you off heavy doses of caffeine which is what a lot of pre's have. Plus 1,3dimeth i didn't like. It's not in MAX.

I've only had pump-bol and liked it a lot, it's a great product. The taste was strong, it made my mouth water. Ultima is on my list to try next.

I was hooked on jack3d for a while and it made me crash so bad. Ultima I hear is good non-stim, but ANimal rage doesn't make me crash because it has the extended energy as well and I get mad focused.

Concentrates seems to be a major reason people go to non-stim pre's in general. It's ashame that's the case b/c not all pre's will cause stim tolerance. Also, has to do with abuse of the supplement in some cases. Caffeine is an ergogenic aid. It's stimulant effects help increase endurance. It's also been proven to increase reaction times. It's one of the best ergogenic stims out there. But it has constrictive properties at high doses. On the other hand it promotes vasodilation at lower doses.

A product like Animal Rage seems high in caffeine in one way but it's a time release. It's been perfected in the blend. Plus there are many other ingredients that contribute to the in-the-zone feeling one gets from using the product.

Even the New White Flood is properly formulated with caffeine at a specific dose. It's hard to become stim tolerant if that's all your caffeine intake for the day.

Both products taper off almost unnoticeably.

Superpump Max doesn't seem to have a high dose of caffeine. Just enough. Oxytropis Falcate a new stimulant herb - i don't get a stim tolerance to at all.

+2 for Bodyforge and Ultima...both deliver some awesome pumps and muscle endurance. I would also recommend mesomorph, up there as one of the best non-stims I've tried to go with Bodyforge / ultima
