prepackaged deli meat vs freshly sliced deli meat

are the deli meat that gets sliced for you in front of you less in sodium content?

im not sure because they have alot of those wrapped up on the side just in case they run out...

Literally just saw something about this on the Today Show a week or so back, its the same stuff packaged is just less money. Plus, there are more choices when it comes to packages!

Don't quote me on it, I might be wrong. Also, look it up on google for more information about that stuff..just make sure you're getting it from a credible source.

prepackaged meats tend to have a lot of sodium and nitrates (no synthetic). that being said, everything in moderation.

just buy fresh bonless chicken and you will save a lot of $ and not be eating extra sodium, nitrates, added carbs

the fresh sliced stuff tastes considerably better but it's close to twice the price quite often. If you're in a pinch they work, either one does - best to just cook your own though.
