    Homemade Plyo Box?

I am looking to build two plyo boxes, but I need a good set of plans to help me out.
Does anybody have a good link to some simple plans? (I am planning on having slanted sides so I don't cut up my shins on missed jumps.)
Also, how high should I make them?
All help is appreciated guys (reps for all).
    Thanks

As for height, that's up to you. How high can you jump?

    Thanks buddy.
I'm not really sure how high I can jump.
I cannot dunk but can easily touch rim. (If that helps give you an idea?)

Here are some ideas for determining the height to make your plyo boxes...

Standing flat on the ground, find out how high you can reach. (Either have someone make this measurement or make a small mark on a wall using a pencil held in your fingertips as you reach as high as you can. Then you can measure from the pencil mark to the ground.) Take that number and subtract it from 10 feet (which the height of a standard basketball rim). It seems to me that you want to build the boxes to be at that height or possibly a bit taller. Remember, you can pull you feet up to gain the landing at the apex of your jump.

Find some stairs outside somewhere. Jump as high up the stairs as you can. (Be safe doing this.) Determine the step height and then multiply that by the number of steps you were able to jump up. Whatever that number is could be your plyo box height.

Have a friend loosely hold a longish stick or pole horizontal to the ground. Do a few jumps to find out the height that you can comfortably jump over the stick/pole and then land on the ground on the other side using your feet. (I.e. you don't want to do a high jump where you have lots of padding on which to land on the other side of the bar.)
