    What's wrong with my shoulder?

Hello, every time I do shoulder presses my right shoulder cracks. Well it makes a popping sound about half way back down and yesterday my shoulder was hurting with 20's. About 2 months ago I got an injury from benching. I think it was a rotator cuff injury because every time I would move my arm sideways it would hurt but anyway I did some rotator cuff exercises and did not lift heavy for 2 months and a week ago It did not hurt anymore and still doesn't but it pops and cracks when I move it. Should I not lift?

yeah but it doesn't hurt anymore well a little when I lift some weights. I was feeling my shoulder in different areas while lifting my arm up and I can feel something pop kind of move. I will probably have to see a doc. I don't think its torn though because it doesn't really hurt.

I had the same problem recently. Mine was rotator cuff impingement, which means I hurt the rotator cuff but it was not torn. IF your strength is down, then it is probably a tear. If it just clicks, aches, hurts but your strength is still 100%, then it is probably not a tear.

Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

I had a similar experience... later on doing shoulder presses with normally 80lb dumbbells, my affected side couldn't maintain and even a 20lb dumbbell felt extremely rough and unstable.... TORN LABRUM, not ROTATOR CUFF, YouTube SLAP TEAR TESTS see what comes up...
Whether you're going forward or backwards, at least you're going somewhere... But, when you stay put, you have no destination...

My shoulder makes noises if my SI joint is out of place (where the lower spine attaches to pelvis). I wouldn't have guessed that in a million years, just noticed it while I was working on hip issues. Yours could be so many different things. Maybe a doctor could help you narrow it down.

I think if two months ago you sustained any injury, took some rest, took it easy, and now are still having pain when shoulder pressing, stop lifting and see your doctor.
Either you have an injury or you didn't properly rest it over the last 2 months.

I heard op did go to a doctor, took a good 7 year off lifting and is expecting to be back in the gym in the next couple days.
I'm sure he'll appreciate your support.
