Have you seen the training methods they used back then? Routines consisted of mainly squats, behind the neck presses, bent presses and overhead presses (no bench for bench presses), and they would do the same exercises everyday in fullbody routines. That coupled with no diet knowledge or access to food, working hard in a factory/farm all day, didn't help. Conditions and knowledge today are way better.
Besides, men back then had way higher test levels than men today (no bro science). If they knew how to train properly (training, nutrition, rest) and didn't work manual labor jobs, the pictures would probably be the other way around.

man.. honestly, the bodybuilding community isn't that intelligent. whoever said that getting your body fat percentage down to the single digits at 4% being unnatural is 100 percent correct. there's no way in hell you're going to be able to retain muscle and have your body fat that low and say you're natural. these people doing unnatural means then saying it's natural and have the nerve to think people are stupid enough to believe that bullsh!t. we're not dumb. we know your little dirty secret. using roids isn't a problem but fronting like you putting in that hard work like you didn't use any extra sh!t then running around giving people false advice isn't what's up. that's what's wrong, man. i hate seeing these juicer abusers trying to give advice on how to build muscle and the whole nine when the juice is what got them where they're at. stop that fronting bullsh!t.

the vast knowledge of bbing we have today did not come immediately after steroids were introduced back then either but despite the first juicers were still swoller than the pre steroid era bbers. like i said good luck with the natty route you most likely end up looking like a pre steroid era bodybuilder than one of todays "nattys'.
its funny how every bodybuilder claims natural too.

Eating steak and potatoes all the time? More to it than that. Shakes help you get in more calories as well, and different training principles as well. Today we know which exercises work which muscles and we also got machines and have more technology to use(for example, not sure I'd consider a leg press or hack squat apparatus a machine but they certainly help train your legs).

brb any person on earth with a good amount MUST be on juice
brb cutting to 4% will take a jacked guy at 200lbs 10% to 160LBS at 4% when he only needed to cut 5-7LBS of fat
brb every on stage bodybuilder in the world cuts down to 4-5% *even amateur competitors* - so every single bodybuilder on earth is on juice
it's sickening how people justify their 'out of shapeness' by trying to retardedly rationalize that everyone who looks better than them HAS TO BE ON GEAR.Last edited by JRemix; 08-25-2011 at 12:47 PM.
