Shoulder pain, what should I do?

Wasn't sure where to put this. But since I think It's the result of doing heavy Bench I put it here.

    On Monday I did my chest routine which consisted of: 5 sets Incline BB on Power rack, 10, 8, 8, 4, 5. 2 sets DB Incline 5, 5. Flat Bench 3 sets 8, 8, 8. Hammer Press, 8, 8, 8. Chest Press machine 5, 5, 5. Incline Press Machine 5, 5, 5.

I may be overdoing it I realise that. Reason I did Chest press was because some dude was on the flies Machine and I didn't want my pump to go away and Chest to cool down.

After doing my Incline stuff I felt fine but when I went onto Flat when I did the pushing movement I felt a sore pain on my Left front delt. It was sort of a sharp pain when I pushed.

I finished workout it didn't feel too bad and today when I was doing Lats the Lat Pulldown when I pulled down I felt quite sore on the shoulder getting the same sort of pain!

Now It's shoulder and legs tomorrow and I'm not sure what to do, go light maybe on shoulders see how it feels?

Anyone have any idea what this could be? I don't feel like I've done any serious damage It's not in agony but I don't want to do any serious damage either. Any help is appreciated.

look on youtube at different shoulder tests you can do yourself...

determine if you possibly tore a rotator cuff, labrum, infraspinatus, supraspinatus or other tendon....the other possiblity is shoulder impingement. if it was a shoulder impingement you could have caused some tendonitis or bursitis there are a lot tests for that too...just search youtube. I would definitely go really light and if there is any pain STOP I worked through the same issue and i regret it as my shoulder is in bad shape now.

immediately you should start taking some ibuprofen and ice it 20 minutes 3-4x a day at least. if its still bothering you in a week or two go see a sports medicine DOCTOR and get it looked at.

from here out start doing rotator cuff work and really warm up the shoulders before any upper body work..there are a ton of youtube vids of shoulder stretchs and warmups.

shoulders and knees are crucial so take care of it now. good luck.

hope that helps....I am working through torn spinatus/tendonitis/SIS and I can tell you its an absolute bish.
