That's exactly how I found this whole bodybuilding.com site - I was sore as hell when I first started working out. I think I did a Google search for "working out when sore" or something to that effect. The end result - get in there and hit the iron again. Once you get some blood flowing to the sore parts, you'll feel fine!

At times I squat 3 days per week, depending on the program I'm running. Just like anything, the doms SHOULD go away eventually. In the meantime, what helps me at least, is cardio, believe it or not. Moderate treadmill walking, cycling etc. Keep the blood flowing and the nutrients delivered to the area. Oh yeah, and EAT for recovery!
Other than that, suck it up and love every minute of it!!!!Steve

Good info for me here. I do legs once a weak and I like to think pretty hard, however Saturday I did legs with lighter weight higher reps. Front squats, walking lunges, Hack, and leg press with standing calf raises. This morning my calves are still sore but but my legs were shot like never before until today.
Like the hair on my legs even hurt and I thought I maybe over did it.

I have to agree with the general sentiment. Following leg day I will start feeling soreness late evening the following day and it will last anywhere from 2 to 5 days. It seems to help doing the treadmill (I do 3.5 mph walking @ 5 degree incline for 60 minutes on non lifting days).
Stretching helps. I sit a lot, either in my car or in my chair, so things can "lock up" on me. I will stretch hammies and quads several time a day when I am sore.So...I say to a friend that I can't eat what she eats because "I eat funny". So she says "what does funny taste like?". So I say "Like rubber chicken".

As mine were sore from yesterday, I tried the treadmill this afternoon and after 30 minutes at 3mph i walked down the stairs like an old lady. Two hours later and they feel a lot better than they did before I went though.

Supplement
I sip Scivation Xtend (BCAA's) during all my workouts. One of the many things that this supplement does is it helps keep down the lactic acid build up down.
