Are "cliff bars" good protein bars?

Bars aren't generally cost effective, and don't taste very good. But if you like them, have at it.
The only thing to watch out for in bars is gelatin in the ingredients which some bars count toward their protein intake. A significant amount of gelatin would make it low quality protein, because gelatin is incomplete.Who do men say that I am?

They do have soy protein in them. But the effects of estrogen from soy have been great greatly over exaggerated.
A lot depends on which version you bought. IMO the regular Cliff bars are low in protein, and too high in sugars and carbs to be considered a protein bar. The Cliff Builders bar is a better choice here, but still is comprised from soy proteins.
Soy protein is not bad, but not complete like a bar made from whey protein.
If you enjoy them, and they fit in your macros, eat them. However I would imagine that bars from Supreme will have a better combination of ingredients protein wise. There is no spoon.
