    High Protein Cereals

Hey everyone I am looking for a new high protein cereal besides the kashi cereals that don't taste like complete ass. I love eating cereal/cottage cheese or gy with a scoop of protein powder before my workout mixed together...I was looking at the macros of the Special K protein plus and they seem to be very good so I was just wondering if anyone likes Special K Protein Plus? I have never had it so I was just wondering what some peoples opinions are because I don't want to waste money on something that tastes awful.....Also, I do like lucky charms, recces puffs, ctc, captain crunch, cookie crisp etc....but just looking for a higher protein cereal so if anyone has any other suggestions that would be great too.

Looks harmless enough. Haven't tried it though. Seems like a lot of protein, it may or may not taste like cardboard. Be warned.

You can try Ezekiel, but its a bit pricey and doesn't cost that great. However, it contains a decent amount of protein and carbs.

I do eat kashi cereals, ctc, lucky charms, cheerios, etc... and enjoy them a lot but was just trying to switch it up a bit and I was at the store today and saw the macros for this and was shocked how good they were so that is why I was asking...No need to hate man.

I am just looking to try new cereals since I love cereal and eat it every day....Also, to cumulonimbus mini wheats are awesome. Haven't had them in forever so I may have to get a box soon...Super jealous of how many carbs you eat too. I am a huge carb fiend so jealous you eat as many as you do lol

Exactly what I was going to say. I love how people rather not choose a delicious tasting cereal for an extra ~2g of protein per serve lol

    No hate seriously....

Dude you got me all wrong I don't hate you... I would never hate you

Just simply saying eat what you enjoy and if you need the extra protein add in whey protein/rice protein/hemp protein/etc protein.

Hell you could even go with a higher protein lesser carb/fat milk for example coconut milk/almond milk.

To the people that say kashi go lean that is the cereal I already eat. It is delicious and I seriously could eat it all day long. Love the fiber content in it too and I actually think it tastes good. I eat it whether I am cutting or bulking. I was just looking for another alternative just because kashi is fairly expensive and I am in college and buying groceries for the first time on my own...I saw the special k today at the store and it was way cheaper then kashi so I figured I might give it a try (good to hear from mike that it tastes good)......I guess I could always just eat like honey nut cheerios and stuff like that but since I am living on my own I am probably going to be eating less fruits/veggies (which I hate), but I don't have the money to afford good fruits/veggies every week so I am still looking for a cereal with good fiber content and special k protein plus, fiber one, and kashi cereals are about the only ones I know........Hate the taste of fiber one too.

Fiber one 80 calorie honey cereal is actually awesome tasting. Add a scoop of cheap whey (body fortress, pure protein) to that and you'll be set.

    Go Lean - 13g Protein

If I could post a pic I would.

Fiber twigs, Soy Protein Grahams, and Honey Puff Cereal. Not the others.

It tastes pretty good, but don't expect honey nut cheerios.
