just did this the other day. literally tripped walking out of the gym, couldnt lift my legs off the ground haha. legs were sore for a week

    back squat 10x10
    lying leg curl 10x10
    leg press 5x10
    straight legged dead lift 5x10
    seated calf 10x10
    standing calf raises 5x10

30 second rest in between sets. 2-3 min in between exercises. start with a weight you could probably do for all 10 sets (ex i did 155 for the squats through the whole 10 sets) and make sure you stretch after!

At only 140lbs and 5'8", 22inch legs may not look like chicken legs, its not like you are 6 foot 200lbs with 22" legs. They are only chicken legs if they are out of proportion with your body. Heres a great post on classical and grecian proportions. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/drobson207.htm However, if you want bigger legs do squats(both front and back), leg presses, hack squats, stiff leg deadlifts, and jefferson squats.

Yeah I'm 6 foot 190lbs I like my upper body but lower is 22 inch legs 15 calves. I just don't have the genetics for big legs. Actually they don't look completely awful but it bothers me and I'm really starting to get serious about training them hard. Problem is I can't squat. Before you say you have to squat I did squats from age 16-26. They got stronger and more muscular but not bigger. So I've never done high reps so thinking about hack squats, leg press etc and doing like 15-20 reps. I've been killing I mean killing calves ever other day for 5 months. One day something will grow.
