I'm lost right now, whats the best approach?
I only gained 35 lbs on my squat, so I can't imagine losing or stalling too hard, but it appears to be a huge probelm with a few people who's run the program.
What did you guys who ran smolov do after smolov, and did it work?
I dunno if I should go extremely high intensity low volume, or high volume low intensity, or somewhere in a middle, I have gotten inconsistent suggestions.

Looks like you aren't get any responses, so I'll try to help out. I've never done Smolov but my friend has. He did Smolov, then went back to a daily undulating periodization program he designed, then did smolov again, and now back to another daily undulating periodization program he designed where he is maxing out squats every day. And he throws in 2 a days on the days he has free. He is like 175 lbs right now and around a 500 lbs squat so you two are at similar strength levels. So maybe you should think about upping your squat frequency and throwing in max squat days.

I know he gained on the last Smolov cycle. Don't remember how much, I think he did a 2 rep max instead of 1 rep max then calculated 1 rep max for new program. And he has only been doing this new program for a week or 2 but he feels its working. And this whole time he has been dropping weight to go to a lower weight class. He was 195 earlier this year and now has dropped to 175 while gaining strength. Many Olympic lifters squat everyday or twice a day, so it does work if you program it correctly. Also, you have to be honest with your daily maxes. Some days he'll hit 460 but other days he'll only hit 430 or even 405.
