    Calories in Calories out.

What would happen you ate around 2000 cals a day and burnt off 2000 cals a day. The deficit would be crazy.... how long would it take till you exhausted your body. I'm wondering this as I burnt roughly 1000 calories today and ate 2000 which makes me think I'm doing way to much cardio as I only had 1000 calories in total :S

550 from LI/moderate cardio this afternoon prework which was a brisk walk on incline for just under an hour.
200 from HIIT this morning which took around 15 minutes + 250 of LI/moderate cycling which was around 30 minutes

Total time doing cardio was 1 hour and 40 minutes. It's a long time but low intensity/moderate cardio can be done every day with out overtraining.

2k calories burned a day would exhaust you beyond belief. Maybe you could keep it up for a short while, but you'd probably crash and burn soon enough. I'm sure pro athletes may burn as much and more when training or performing, so I suppose if you take proper rest days and eat correctly you could do it...if you're in as good of shape as a pro.

I just started my second part of my weight loss yesterday.

I am doing a 2500 calories deficit per day. Eating 2000 calories, and burning off 4500 through gym and my lifestyle.

I always burn MINIMUM 900 calories (5 or 6 miles) in the treadmill. And thats just in cardio. Add another 200 or more i burn lifting heavy weights.

2 hpurs at the gym (1 hour cardio, 1 hour heavy lifting). Lost 53 pounds when i started it in 15 weeks but i cheated every single weekend.

    Its the best thing ever.

I feel in the best shape since i was 21 ( at 200 pounds)

40 pounds to go to 200 lbs and my goal of 10% body fat.

    2500 calorie deficit = 17500 a week = 5 pounds a week

    Good night, sweet muscle mass.

There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

I have nothing to add to this thread except to toot my own horn and say I did just that yesterday.

Ran 8.35 miles with 1038 ft of climb, saw one bald eagle and ate 1000 calories. Not because I'm crazy with the cals, but I binged this weekend and was not hungry at all.

At 3mph, a standard walking speed you'd probably burn around 180-250 calories depending on weight. At 6mph, a very fast walk it'd be double that. There was a calculator on the net which gave you an estimation but I can't seem to find it.
