I suppose. As far as I know, EVERYONE'S status says shipping soon. I haven't seen one confirmed report of a cancellation or an actual shipment taking place. I'm fully expecting mine to get cancelled, and I'm starting to get pissed at the lack of response here. They had all day yesterday to sort out their orders, and they still haven't been able to tell anyone what the hell is going on. They're an online shop for God's sake... this is what they do. I understand the complete overload, but if you can't give status updates 36 hours after the orders have been made, you don't know what the hell you're doing.

Oh I've been busy so haven't had a chance to keep up with thread. I figured there would be some cancellations now. I just want to know whether I need to keep looking for another one or not.

All three of my tablets shipped either yesterday or today. Tracking numbers for all of them.

I'm really surprised that Tiger Direct order went through yesterday afternoon

Unless there is some breaking news, every onSale order is in the same boat. Says shipping soon. No cancellations, no shipment confirmations.

A bunch of people (including myself) have called into the onSale customer service, and the short version of the story is that they have no idea if your order is going to ship or not. There was a ******** update yesterday saying we should know more in 24 hours or less, and I believe that was at about 7:30 last night.

There is also apparently a ******** update out there saying that if you ordered on the first day the sale was available, you are probably safe. That being said, the day the sale first started is up for debate. Pretty much everyone on the internet is only aware of it starting Sunday afternoon, but onSale seems to be indicating that units were available on Saturday as well.

Cliffs - You should find out today if your order is going to go through, but right now every onSale order is in the same boat.

It was available when I ordered it Sunday, says item can't be canceled. Maybe it's shipping soon?

UPDATE: ordered an hp tablet through tiger direct using google checkout around 3-4pm yesterday, my order was fulfilled and shipped today on 8/23. i spoke to a tg sales rep using online chat to confirm and guarantee the stock of my order (it was). needless to say, its surprising at the least that i was able to get one days after the sale began at 3-4pm yesterday.

should be receiving an order tomorrow. lol

Same here dude. I have to give TG credit. I haven't heard of one person that has had issues with their order. It seems they are one of the few retailers online that didn't fuk this up. Would definitely order from them again

I agree. I know it was an influx of orders, but you had to see that coming. They're purely an online business, either get more people working longer hours to get this stuff out, or at least notify people. I think their rating is going to take a hit if we aren't notified within a day.

i think what they are trying to do is convince HP to send them more stock so they can fulfill all of the orders, until then they are just leaving everything as pending...I am awaiting the tidal wave of cancels later today when they find out that hp won't be shipping them more

HP intended on the price dropping and people making a buck off of it is rather ****ty. But all this exposes the tablet to the public so HP may have been a genius with this if this allows them to sell off the WebOS rights for even more than they're taknig a loss on these tablets

Lucky gits. I actually sat through the TD/CircuitCity chaos b/c I thought my orders from BB and HPSMB were alright because of confirmations, now Im kicking myself.
