Since fats are so important for our health, heart, fat burning etc, explain why I have almost never seen a pro eating a hand of nuts, a couple of tbs olive oil or avocados?? Every ''nutrition vid'' I've seen from a pro, they are always eating rice, oats, eggwhites, or something....
No ofense, but can someone find an anwser? Their diets are always "LOW FAT'' they said...

Yeah, drugs are involved... BUT I think that's not the only thing...
Most pro's live like the bodybuilders in the 70-80's... '' eating fats make you fat' which mean the same like ''eating hair make you able to get more hair''
However, pro's still look good nowdays, less fat or not... they look great.
But i'm interessed in more details than only ''added roids''

and if it weren't for it, none of us would be on this board now would we? so THANK pro bodybuilding to give you an online place to speak your fitness thoughts sir.
but tell me, what is so UNhealthy about pro bodybuilding? the only thing unhealthy about bodybuilding, for many not all, is the final week of contest time...when depleting is part of the process. other then that, nothing is really unhealthy. their 'vitamins' dont kill. there have been probably less then 10 confirmed deaths with their 'vitamin' usage, and thats with bigtime abuse and overdosage. Smoking, illegal drugs (*******, heroin, etc.) and alcohol consumption have way more health risks involved, and have a crapload more confirmed deaths.Last edited by MAX.MAREK; 08-19-2011 at 10:10 AM.

I see what you're saying and I appreciate the effort to argue that enhanced bodybuilding is Not as unhealhty as people think. BUT, it is night and day in terms of health for natty verse not. Blood pressure, cholesterol, endocrine damage are not things that can properly be managed. They can be worked with to limit the Danger through cardio and diet etc...but the risks are far and above natural bodybuilding and non enhanced sports in general.
On one hand enhanced bbng Does not need to be nearly as dangerous as most think, but on the other hand there is a giant step in risk when one goes that route. Risk that I'd acceptable? That's all personal choice.www.xccellence.com
