Natural Bodybuilding=Best Hobby In The World
I realized this the other day while comparing NATURAL bodybuilding to other hobbies/sports people do.
1. Health benefits. Obviously this is where the NATURAL part is crucial. (in B4 proper pct) Face it, steroids=negative effects on health no matter what. Natural bodybuilders are physically active and eat healthy foods(for the most part).
2. It is a hobby that we always get to show off. ALWAYS. We are
sculpting our physiques, changing our appearance in a positive way. A basketball player can only show his talent while he is playing basketball. Our "talent" is being displayed at all times.
3. Confidence. I don't need to explain this in detail. Having an impressive physique boosts your confidence like nothing else! I have a friend who is very shy with low confidence. But, he is a very talented downhill skier. When he is skiing he becomes a new person. CONFIDENT as fuuaarkkk. Again, he can only find this confidence when he is doing what he is good at. We have a perma confidence boost that enhances out lives at all times.
4. Independent. Our success relies on us and only us. We don't need anyone else to achieve our bodybuilding goals. You could be the best guitar player in the world, if your singer sucks, your band sucks. You could be the best soccer player in the league, if your team sucks, you lose. We don't need anyone to reach success.
Anyway that is my rant for the day. I was bored on lunch break. Typed on my phone so sorry for any typos. Feel free to add more reasons why natural bodybuilding is the best hobby ever.
P.S
I am not saying I have an impressive physique or anything like that. I am pleased with my gains and will continue to pursue strength and aesthetics. Good luck to all you brahs on your bodybuilding journey.

Fuuaarkk thanks for the support man. Staying lean all year. Slow bulk for the rest of my life lol. Unless I compete, I don't plan on doing bulking/cutting. Not to extremes anyway. Maybe short cycles. At a party this past weekend and chicks were lining up to feel my abs(NO BRAG) that's when I realized I wanted to just make steady lean gains. I'm way more confident when Im lean. Any way haha thanks again bro. Good luck on your journey.

Couldn't agree more about patience and consistency bro. That's the biggest realization I've had about bodybuilding. I feel way better about slow/clean bulking all year, than having big weight/appearance changes.
Fat kid up until grade 7.
Skinny as fuuark grade 7-10.
Started lifting(not good routines/bad diet) grade 10-11.
The last 7-9 months is when I started taking it serious and have made the most gains. Any general advice would be great man ? ?-bench, squat, djentlift

Disagree - bodybuilding (either natural or juicy) is the WORST hobby ever.
You live a very structured life, structured diet, structured everything. You're pounding on your body, making it susceptible to injuries, when in the long-run it will all be for naught - eventually you will get old and even if you keep on training as hard as you can, you will loose the size and strength you've spent a lifetime working towards.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it - I've been lifting for 10yrs, and will continue to do so until I'm 80 because I don't want to go back to being 120lbs and having 11''arms, lol, but lots of times i wish I never got into it and got obsessed with being bigger than most.
If I ever had a kid I would encourage him to be physically active, but hopefully not into bodybuilding or powerlifting.Booo
