You're dissing eating straight butter? I had wasabi wow (trail mix) instead. It's got carbs along with the fats though.
I am ashamed I didn't think of cheese. I don't even know who I am anymore. ::tear::
I'm drinking wine right now at 12:50-something, though, 'cause I finished my taxes, bitches. LOLOL Even for *me*, filing on April 15th is a lil extreme. What can I say? The deadline snuck up on me.
I was gonna resume dieting this week, kids, but Wednesday is my son's b-day and I am treating him to Chinese food and there will be funfetti cake, so... Maybe we go another week at maintenance-ish. I think I *can* diet more b/c obviously I'm still making increases at the gym and not getting pissed off with feeling weak. BUT after not being on the 1500 poverty calories a day for a couple weeks, it's really hard to go back. Motivate me, yo."Eat some oatmeal, do some squats, how hard is that seriously."--Prof Ham

bulk cooking extravaganza
Pasta with (ground turkey) meat sauce, black beans n' rice w/ ground turkey, chicken stir fry, banana almond protein muffins. That's almost three weeks of work lunches right there. Freezer=stocked. Now I'm gonna do some stretching/yoga/foam rolling + abzzzz, then bake the funfetti cake."Eat some oatmeal, do some squats, how hard is that seriously."--Prof Ham

That chalkboard wall looks pretty sweet, did you just use that special paint that only seems to be at home depot places? Do you have to use a primer on whatever is there origionally and then paint that stuff on? I wanna try this out!

Yup, Rustoleum from Home Depot, Hammie. Super easy. Only need to prime if you're painting over unfinished wood or something. On an already painted wall or door you can just slap it up there. Then you have to wait a few days for it to really dry, cover the entire surface with chalk then wipe it off to cure it, and you're good to go.

I need more containers and more ideas for stuff that freezes well, has good macros, and transports well, and then next time I will do enough lunches for a month.
Feeling very bloated on fried rice and cake right now and will probably have terrible GERD tonight, but it's worth it Went to the gym earlier in between errands and the b-day festivities. Shoulders were weak as fukc but back felt strong. I got no explanation for this, LOL.
12 mins crossramp (1.02 miles)
foam rolling

db rows 45x8x3 each side
Hammer shoulder press w/90: 7-8-7 w/95: 5-5-4-4
seated gms 45x8x1 70x8x1 75x8x1 80x8x1
1 armed waiters w/20: 1x around x3 each side
dips 8-8-8 <--(and my L shoulder felt feally iffy on these so I did not push it)
seated cable rows w/ "#18": 8-8-8 w/"#19": 6-6 <--(used a different attachment with these today and they actually felt easier; getting close to being able to do the whole stack again)

foam rolling and hip stretches

kneeling squats: 195x8x1 205x8x1 225x8x1 <--(hit the pins unracking that last set but persevered)

Tanx, Boom.
So. The last two days at work almost killed me but here I am, still alive. AND now I am off work til Thursday because Monday is a holiday in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Woohoo! Wasn't sure I was crazy about this new work schedule but one big upside is that every Monday holiday now gives me a four day weekend.
That's the good news. The bad news is that it looks like the Y is closed for Easter tomorrow. The fancy pants Y looks like maybe it is open though. Maybe I will call them to make sure and then go on a field trip, haha. I wanna do something fitness-related anyhow.

Is sleeping an activity?
Done! You are such a sweetheart. Can't wait for delicious European chocolate of peace.
Slept a lot today, guise, since the gym was in fact not open and I was tired, then made a delicious dinner: roast pork tenderloin, roasted potatoes & carrots, roasted asparagus. See a theme here? Sadly I only had one glass of wine left in the bottle and I forgot to buy anything for dessert. Maybe I'll have the one beer I have left in my basement from before I went on the neverending diet of suck.

Hey guise! Just got back from hiking in the Middlesex Fells for about two hours. Weather was absolutely beautiful and because the leaves aren't out on the trees yet, it was sunny even in the woods. I ended up taking off my rashguard-ish shirt and hiking in a tank top for most of the time Yay spring! We took a "moderate" trail which had some pretty good steep inclines. My azz definitely felt it on the uphills and my quads on the downhills.
And all I've eaten today is basically carbs and sugar. I'll be returning to healthy eating habits and a deficit any.day.now. It's so hard though. Food tastes good. LOLOL
I was thinking of maybe going to yoga tonight but all that fresh air and sunshine kinda wiped me out so it's looking doubtful...
Hope you had a happy Monday even if it wasn't a holiday for you!"Eat some oatmeal, do some squats, how hard is that seriously."--Prof Ham

OMG, you perverts, it's a place
There's a whole giant county in my state called Middlesex. It's named after someplace in England. Blame Louise's ancestors.
In other news, I was looking at pants on the LOFT website late last night because they sent me this giant sale email (like they do every week, LOLOL) and I was like, oh, those are really cute, and then I remembered I owned some just like them from last year. In my defense, its been seven long months since we've been able to wear anything resembling warm weather clothing. So I found them this morning and put them on and I kinda think they're too big now even after eating sh*te for four days straight. Evenj with a belt on they're falling down at the waist.
Please to tell me if these jeans are too baggy especially thru the crotchital area and look stupid, but keep in mind they are boyfriend jeans and are supposed to be "slouchy."
Yes, I am crowd sourcing whether my pants fit. Shut up.
I'm wearing them today whether they look like crap or not, but, y'know, for future reference."Eat some oatmeal, do some squats, how hard is that seriously."--Prof Ham

Ok...
1) I think the jeans look fine, they're not baggy in the wrong places, butt and crotchial (lol) look ok (lol again), it's more baggy in the knee which I don't see an issue with, you look very nice in the whole outfit.
2) If your pants are literally falling down when you walk around then it'd be a no-go for me, I hate having to struggle with adjusting stuff all day.
3) Are we all just gonna ignore the fact that this giant Middlesex map has a place in the top right called STONEHAM, are we? ARE WE?!!! (Wondering if OP made lulzy map in photoshop now.) Stoneham, what is this like Stonehenge only with a bunch of muscle flexing hams chissled out of rock standing in a circle hi-fiving each other?Current PRs:

I think they look great on you! As long as they feel comfortable, I'd wear them! It's nice to wear loose clothing sometimes anyway, makes you feel tiny
