LOSE 10 LBS, IN 3 DAYS, DIET MUST BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY
First Day
Breakfast: ½ Grapefruit, 1 slice dry toast, 2 tsp. peanut butter, black coffee or tea.
Lunch: ½ Cup dry tuna, 1 slice dry toast, coffee or tea.
Supper: 2 slices any type of meat (3oz.), 1 cup green beans, 1 cup red beats, 1 small apple, ½ cup vanilla ice cream.
Second Day
Breakfast: 1 egg, 1 slice dry toast, ½ banana.
Lunch: 1 cup cottage cheese, 5 saltine crackers.
Supper: 2 hotdogs, 1 cup broccoli, ½ cup carrots, 1 banana, ½ cup vanilla ice cream.
Third Day
Breakfast: 5 saltine crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1 small apple.
Lunch: 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice dry toast, coffee or tea.
Supper: 1 cup dry tuna, 1 cup red beets, 1 cup cauliflower, ½ cantaloupe, ½ cup vanilla ice cream.
This diet works on chemical breakdown and is proven. Do not vary or substitute any of the above food items. Salt and pepper may be used, but no other seasonings. This diet is to be used for three days at a time only. In three days you should lose approx. 10 LBS. After three days of the diet, then eat normal for four days with no picking between meals. After your fourth day or normal eating, you may go back on the diet for another three days. You can lose up to 40 LBS. in a month.
ANY CHEATING ON THIS DIET WILL TOTALLY RUIN THE WHOLE DIET, SO IT MUST BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY!!! NO SUBSTITUTIONS ARE ALLOWED!!!
various people have told me this diet would work to shed a quick 10 pounds. seems unreasonable to me but does anyone know anything about this??

Its total horse ****, that would cause you to lose alot of water weight and thats it, you would not lose fat, your body would be turning to starvation mode in a hurry if you follwoed that 'diet' thus causing you to hold onto fat even more than usual.
You would lose water and muscle weight, the actual loss in fat would be very minimal, that 'diet' is moronic and has no place being on a bnodybuilding site....for any reason.

Adding in the first days food to fitday.com it comes out to around 960 calories. DUH! You'll lose weight if you weigh more than 90 lbs.

Three days just crunch the numbers....
3500 calorie deficite required to lose a pound of body fat.
Average male requires 2,500 calories a day
if you were to eat nothing but water for three days and do no more than average exercise, you could theoretically lose a maximum of 2 pounds
Me thinks you have it in reverse 3 pounds in 10 days sounds about right for the above diet
