Hey guys, recently the question that keeps bugging me is am i going to be a manlet forever? Like seriously, i havent grown like in the past 2=3 years. Im kinda of worried that ive stopped, cuz right now im only at 5"4. Whats your guys take on this situation. do you think i can still grow, i basically have to shave like once a week haha, and i have a good amount of armpit hair. But if i still can grow, how could i get the most out of it? Does stretching and sprinting and stuff like that help you get taller? Plus should i be taking a multi, or just have a good diet? Lol about the **** loada questions, just kinda worried about this.

From what I read we usually grow up until our 20s. If you're really concerned ask your doctor about HGH or get an x-ray to check if your growth plates fused. If they haven't you still have the possibility of getting taller. Also this was posted in a thread the other day...

You're 15 , there's plenty of time for you to grow . It's all up to your genetics aswell , if your parents are short , there's little chance you can get taller , unless let's say one of your grandparents are tall , there might be a chance . But really , if your parents are tall , then you shouldn't worry , you will grow in time

Well towards the bottom it also says this...
Multivitamin
Take 1 pill every day
Recommended: Optimen or Source Naturals (source naturals is the best one)
Sprinting
Sprint 2-3x a week, on non-consecutive days
Warmup for a few minutes first
Go all out for 20-30 seconds, then rest for ~2m. Repeat 6x
Sleep
Minimum 8 hrs per night
So you're good on the fish oil and multi. And we do grow in our sleep so make sure you don't skimp out on that. If anything I'd pay a trip to the doctor to see if your growth plates are fused or not. That way you'll know for sure if you have more potential

They only need to take an x-ray so I don't think it'd be any extra money. Last time I went for an x-ray it cost 25 dollars co-pay with my insurance (but that's with any doctor visit for me), but maybe they can just fit it in with your physical.
Edit: And that guy's right. Since you have some tall people in your family there's a good chance you're gonna hit a spurt sooner or later

Not too sure to be honest with you mate. When I was at school I played rugby and was told by my coach that exercises such as deadlifting and squats helped stimulate growth, I did take a stretch back then but even then i was still tiny, i was like 5'2 at 14/15 years old haha. Exercise in general will help stimulate your body which could help you grow up the way, don't know much about it but generally running helps, as does swimming (to my knowledge, may be wrong)

Yeah I really grew a lot once i started going to the gym, that was later on in high school. The guys in my family are all f###ing huge aswell, and generally are skinny and don't fill out till about 20 years old. I hope I'm the same. A lot of it is down to genetics which can be very frustrating to some people though. I'm fine with my height atm, it's my weight I want to improve, maybe add an inch or two but no more. Really tall people generally make better targets where I live lol

Between my 8th and 9th grade year I grew 7 inches. Don't worry about it man. Some people are late sprouters. My brother got his growth spurt in 5th grade. I got mine in 8th. My best friend didn't get his until 10th grade. Unless your parents are incredibly short there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Dude your lucky, I'm 16 1/2 and 5'3''. I'm basically in the same boat as you, I haven't grown much in a while. I was 5'1'' in 8th grade and only grew 2 inches since. It sucks but what can we do? I use to be happy with reaching 5'8'', now I will be happy with at least 5'5''. But who ever mentioned HGH injections, you have to have a bad growth deficiency for that to take place.

Alright folks, i'm pretty much an expert at growth for people, i've been reading about it for years because I hated my height..
Basically , no , stretching does not make you taller. Myth.
If you're 5'4 now and your father is around 5'5-5'6, expect to get around the 5'6-5'7 range (unless your mother is ridiculously short). If you can hit 5'7 you're fine.
To theboulder, the only real way to grow taller out of puberty if Cosmetic Limb Lengthening Surgery. Don't be scared by the name though, it's not as awful as it may sound...Did you just eat that? :O
