    i dont get it this either.. the closest thing to a walking squat are duck walks, but you wouldnt use weight for that exercise since its more of a conditioning exercise.

    sorry for the confusion... to do a walking squat.... you step to the side and then squat down and up and step again to the side..... stepping to the side hits and targets the glutes at a different angle then you would get with just a straight squat or lunge......

    I've seen Taekwon Do practitioners do that, but while climbing giant stairs and without weights.
