    1 month bulking progress. Any noticeable change?

    1 Month worth of bulking. Eating basically 300 cals over maintenance. Routine was madcow 5x5. Any noticeable difference? Before and after* Any recommendation and critique would be much appreciated. Should I up my calories even more? I'm planning on bulking at least another month before a cut. Thoughts?

    Have you gained weight? 1 month is very hard to tell a difference in muscle mass. The body typically doesnt change quite that quickly. Should give it 12 weeks at least.

    1st picture I was weighing around 165ish and the second picture I'm weighing in at 171ish

    Your chest is ever so slightly larger. It is hard to tell though because your right and left side are not completely symmetrical and you took pictures with different hands.

    If you've gained 6lbs in a month, then probably not. Remember the the body can only really put on 0.5lbs a week (~2 per month), so keep to the number you have now.*

    BrotherScience. Every body is different, someone may only be able to add on 0.5lbs a week, others with good genetics more so keep calories low and keep increasing until you start to notice (substansial) fat gain, always gonna get a little fat on a bulk.
