Wow, he has an amazing physique. Zane definitely looked horrible that year. But all of the guys were so aesthetically pleasing. I must say that the look of the guys in the video is definitely WAY more pleasing to the eye than what is gracing the IFBB stages these days. Sure the guys are bigger, but look at those waists. Their chest actually comes out further than their stomach.

Yeah, talked about a million times over the decades. Very well known rip off. But hey, it's the Weider brother's marketing machine. Kiss ass or get kicked. Even the great Lee couldn't compete with Fox that year.
Samir looked good for 4th/5th.

Bertil wasn't quite ready yet. He needed a couple more years as did Lee. Samir came in just right with perfect proportion and great conditioning.
Bertil had a great chest incredible shoulder tie in and arms but lacked in legs and lats. His chest sparkled and seemed to rip from bottom to top. Veryimpressive.
He and Lee could have battled for many years and I could have seen Bertil winning at least a third of those battles.

I just watched this again, and woah, Bertil does look good. Amazing pop and separation.
I can't say for sure whether he could take Samir, but 5th was a majorly lame placing. Arnold Schwarzenegger was on board the Bertil Fox train, so why weren't the IFBB judges? We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.
IFBB brahs über alles.
