If the fact that some candidate "doesn't look" like a president is enough for people to not vote for them, then the USA is fukked no matter what happens. The puppet politician will always be voted in and the people will suffer. Sad as fukk.
Ron Paul or bust. Every other "candidate" can lick my nutz, they are not getting my vote.

It's getting to the point where the mainstream media will no longer be able to ignore Ron Paul or they will lose their credibility. This is a good thing. They will never be behind him of course because he does not support the status quo. Also I hope this idea of liberty does not die with Ron Paul.....we need some young folks inspired by him to emerge as leaders. The support for Ron Paul and the new (old) idea of individual liberty increases every year. If he doesnt win,he is still a winner...he will have successfully woken up more people than anyone and it may provoke change in the future as this country hangs by a thread. He knows this of course.....

It might not be a possibility anymore, but you need to understand that its RP's way of thinking that would have prevented all this sh!t storm in the first place. Of course the middle east hates Americas guts.. that comes from years of America bullying them around for corporate interests..
Someone needs to be the bigger man and stop all this hate eventually.. might as well start now.

I agree with a caveat. Remember, militant muslim extremists all believe in Jihad and welcome becoming a martyr.
So, that being said, I don't necessarily think our past transgressions in that region would make a difference of they'd happened or not. They would make up their own reasons is what I mean.Racism is completely irrational.

While nobody will have the perfect strategy or points of views; he is FAR more consistent about what he is saying towards what I agree with than ANY other candidate. I dislike a few of his views (can't think of them off the top of my head of course); so he is not the perfect candidate. Nobody is. However; he is the only person I've ever seen to explain the ROOT causes for just about every single problem that is going to be a major talking point in this election. And from what I've seen, he is the best candidate at explaining them and addressing them- and some of the others don't even explain the root problem at all. They simply say "we must do x", instead of going through a specific thought process of how\why\where. Plus the man seems highly intelligent and backed by personal beliefs, which I also greatly like. I liked Obama's ability to be intelligent when faced with tough questions in the 2008 election which is why I greatly favored him over the other choices then. Everyone else seems to be talking out of their asses to varying levels of severity.
My 2cents; plz don't neg in rage.
Then what can we do about it? What were doing now (war) is NOT working in the least; I'm not Politics and cultural expert so I have no good ideas. From what I've seen of all the candidates ideas; Ron Paul has the best. Everyone else simply wants to get directly involved in the area (war), which is exactly what we did in Iraq and clearly is not working.

I appreciate the well thought out post. I like RP myself. And although he is very good at getting to the root causes, I don't think he can actually deliver on his foreign policy ideas, or going back to the gold standard either. But I do like more of what he stands for than what I don't like. He's a sight better than Obama, that's for sure.

People who say Ron Paul is only popular on the internet it's because the mainstream media manipulates polls and makes him out to be the bad guy when he seems to be the only one that gets it. and they don't know the real votes he's been getting. He is the only Republican candidate worth being elected. All the others are corporate globalists.
