he was working arms... probably one of the most motivating things i've ever seen, tbh. he's the first pro i've ever seen in person, and it was mind blowing how much bigger he was.
what an epic thread this has turned into lol. he's not the first person to tell me i'm small, and wont be the last. i'm a full time graduate student, working two jobs, and i have low Testosterone... his comments didn't phase me in the least. if something that small bothered me enough to keep my outta the gym, i wouldn't even be posting on bb.com. if anything his being a douche bag is just more motivation to tuck away. i really do appreciate everyone retaliating though, provided plenty of lulz"The weak-minded would shrink away from what must be done for fear of being ridiculed by the wicked" - Terry Goodkind

Hey brah
What kind of intensity does Flex train with? I know in the videos he always goes balls to the wall, but how do his "unfilmed" workouts usually play out? Hardcore, heavy weights, grunting, screaming, forced reps, etc... or is he a little more subdued and focused on "pump training" when the cameras aren't rolling?

he was surprisingly subdued compared to some of the stuff you see in the workout vids... but that being said it was not just pump training. from what i saw he went quite heavy, supersetted a LOT and had some serious intensity. when i first came in he was using a machine preacher one armed to failure, then supersetting it with face curls on a lat pulldown machine. was pretty intense, but not something you would see branch doing

Dude, you gotta realize that as a community, we're better off encouraging each other rather than putting each other down. The power of negativity will never touch the power of positivity & constructive criticism given when it's called for. You don't seem to know the diff between that & just plain being an azzhole. This is tough love for ya. Take notes, son.

I'm not really surprised by this. I think a lot of the pro's just "turn it on" for the cameras whereas most of their workouts are relatively tame. At that level it's just silly to go balls out every single workout anyways. Stimulate NOT annihilate seems to make the most sense...especially for the guys that are already at like 95% of their potential.
