I'm not usually that nervous, just excited, etc since it's the first lift of the meet. Basically I approach my opener as my last warm up before I get some weight on the bar.

I opened lite at my last meet and in retrospect I should have opened a bit higher. This would have given me the confidence to go heavier on my 3rd attempt.

Yeah. It's only an hour from my house so it will be nice to finally do a meet (my first one actually)without having to stay overnight, etc.

They do one every October and April so I think I'll just get in on the rotation for a bit.
