Prowler + 140 - 50ft X 6 trips
First two sets of squats felt heavier than they should have the 3rd set felt light and fast. I set my training max for squats at 335. I cut a few sets off of the assistance template and kept it light as I work back into lifting 4 X per week. I'm not in a hurry and I do NOT want to reinjure my low back.
Prowler felt good. I'll be adding sets to that next week. On my other lower day I'll be doing sled pulls and on my 2 overhead days I'll hit 20-30 mins on the elliptical for recovery.

Nice workout bro!
I think I've been going about it all wrong, and need to add my sled drags into the end of my leg day.
I had been doing them on an off day, but feel like that was just slowing down recovery.
Now back to the beard discussion, we can't have this thread looking like a workout log.

The itching always stops about one month in, for me at least.
I'm going to try to grow my beard until my birthday (February), but my beard is weak compared to most almost no growth on the cheeks, while many have just half an inch from there eyes.Training for WSM 2018!!!

I would say go with the beard. I cannot because work will not allow. I can wear jeans and a t-shirt, but can't have unkept facial hair. I get yelled at every 3-4 days because I still hate shaving.

I have a goatee year round (although it is graying now for some odd reason) but that's only half the strength I'm looking for.
As far as finding a biker chick...I have 2 kids and Black Spit has 3 so with the pending child support payments that may not be the best option...although I do love wearing assless chapsBetter Body Sports

Things change once the words "I Do" come out of your mouth rookie
EDIT: I just realized that due to this thread and other threads I get absolutely NOTHING done at work between the hours of 7:30 and 9:30. Not that I set the world on fire from 9:30 - 4:30 but just sayin'Better Body Sports

Nope....well not married, but pretty much tied down (except for my internet bad a** persona).
Well the goatee explains the strong deadlift and overhead struggles.
I see your point....but wouldn't a 300 lb overhead be better than a family???? (not srs)
We don't share....I make her wait for them.
Two words I must remove from my vocabulary.
I hear ya talkin' on the last part. This weeks has been severely unproductive. Not that I have a ton to do right now anyways.

I've never gotten past a 3 week old beard. I may have to suck it up and grow one to see if the itching stops after a month for me.
I kind of want the extra poundages on my deadlifts and OHP. Well worth the face irritation.
On a serious note, it really does bump you up a solid 10 points on the badass scale.

I was reading some Wendler yesterday and he said something that really made sense in reference to our main movements and accessory work....."Work the hard movements smart and the easy movements hard".

I think that is why I like Wendler's work so much. It is simple. This stuff isn't all that complicated and too many times we make it more than complicated to the point we hurt our training. His blunt b*tch slaps are a nice way of reminding us. My favorite quote regarding main vs accessory movements has to be "Don't major in the minors".

I'm not saying anything I'm just sayin'....you know what I'm sayin'
No doubt and the "I've got scars and blood and vomit" paragraph is pure meathead literary genius.
I've been limitting my accessory work to 6-10 reps for the longest time and NEVER going over 10. I think for a while I'm not going UNDER 10 reps and see what happens.Better Body Sports

Looking forward to deads in here!
Now about the beard thing personally I dont have one. Partly because the military is picky about that sort of thing and doesn't allow them and partly because I have 14 facial hairsACE CPT

Don't get too excited..I don't think they're going to be very impressive. I'm either going to use straps and go for reps (sacrelige I know ) or switch hands on mixed grip so my left palm is facing towards me and do some feather sets of five to just get back in the groove.

Indeed. In fact, this post inspired me to open up the book and reread a few sections, that being one. I also read the IADJS portion and think I have found a way to apply it to the rest of my work day.
Time to test out the hook grip on some singles? (Not ladies, we are talkin' deadlifts here)Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

ha ha ha ha I can apply the IADJS template to MANY facets of my life for the rest of the day!!
I messed around with it on rows a bit yesterday. It will be interesting to say the least. The knurling on my TPB isn't too forgiving.

Wendler has one of the smartest training minds in the world. He also has the ability to put his thoughts into words so that a 6th grade football player can understand. I love his work and follow it because i dont need BS in exercise science to understand anything.
I think I am going to try something with my waves after the comp in the 19th. I am going to rotate one month of very high rep assistance 5X15-20 with a month of very heavy assistance 5X3. I will only switch assistance every two months while doing this. I am wondering if it will help these small tweaks I have been getting recently.★cVc★

Fixed to apply to me
Interesting. What exercises would you pick for the assistance though?? I'm pretty sure you don't want to do a set of 3 on pushdowns or lat pulls.
Say on Overhead day...you're thinking something like this
Press - whatever 5/3/1 week you're on
Floor Press - 5 X 3
Weighted Pull Up - 5 X 3
Rows - 5 X 3
Kinda looks a bit like MAX OT doesn't it???Better Body Sports
