It does suck when you miss new PRs. Makes me hate the **** out of a lift. I really lost my enthusiasm for squatting and benching for a while because the PRs stopped coming, but I've noticed they come even less if I'm not into a lift.

It wasn't even a PR attempt.
I just have been in a funk ever since I f'd up my low back and bicep @ that October comp.
I just need to get my squat up and I'll PR hopefully.
I'm not sure....but it's happening....

I've never had a biceps injury so I don't know that feel, but can imagine it sucks because you constantly have to worry about a tear while pulling.
I hope you get back on track bro, I wanna see you crushing 600. Didn't you have a race with someone who was going to 500? Was it chris?

This is all mental. It's just something you need to get over. I had hernia surgery and still deadlifted over 600# after recovering from it. You simply put it out of your mind and stop treating certain weight amounts like they own you. If you can pull 500# you can pull 600#. It's only 100# more. Pick up a hundred pound plate then ask yourself why you are showing it so much respect.

To toss another log on the fire, 2007 powerlifting masters nationals. I tore my right rotator cuff completely off on my 2nd bench attempt then pulled 606# on my final deadlift. I expect a pr on your next dl day.

Unfortunately, if I recall your split correctly, you will be pulling sumo.
