EDIT: Read this before raging:
http://thinksteroids.com/forum/stero...134306033.html
Before you rage, its NOT because he won cycling titles on gear. Cycling is the dirtiest sport there is. There's an interview out with Ángel Heredia (the man who supplied Marion Jones and TONS of other Olympians with gear) and he exposes professional-level sports. Lance beat a pack of fellow juicers - not a big deal, it levels the playing field. Lance was better.
The problem is that the number one cause of testicular cancer is testicular atrophy - or in Lance's case, self-induced testicular atrophy. He literally juiced his own balls off and decided to parlay it into a multi-million dollar privatized cancer empire. Nike pumped out shirts and those tacky yellow bracelets in the name of cancer research. Turns out it was all a cash-in for a man who induced his own cancer through steroid use. The government just burned millions of dollars and years attacking Roger Clemens over nothing while they let a man parlay the same crimes into a manipulative juggernaut of a company. I wonder how many tests his company has done on the link between heavy PED use and different forms of cancer? Lance would be a great test subject.
Conversely, the cycling organizations that want to ban Amrstrong are hypocrites in their own right... they want to protect their brand and block the man who made them relevant. They were pushing this company just as much to bask in the shine of cancer and the money marketing cancer brings in. Now that Armstrong is exposed, I hope he reveals how many of his competitors juice, too... at the same press conference where he detaches from his purely evil "Livestrong" campaign.

Wish I still had the research suggesting steroid induced testicular atrophy increases testicular health after cycle. Hmm I'll have to look. Granted, one study does not equal scientific fact.
I am inspired by Zyzz. Did I deletes?

another roll bread.
steroids are not linked to cancer. and only orals are known to cause liver problems when abused.
Not even lyle alzado's brain tumor was caused by roids.

Track cycling > Road cycling. Watching 4 hours of a Tour de France stage sounds like one of the most boring things imaginable.
Testicular atrophy is linked with cancer though, and as such if you induce atrophy, you may increase your risk of cancer as well.
Although, I'm not sure if atrophy as a result of cell tech use shares the same causative link with cancer as atrophy caused by an abnormality during development would. So, I might be completely wrong.

Mind=blown that so few people understand the link between the two... for a forum that jokes about bike rides, most of you are clueless... I guess me and Bob Weiner, a former spokesman for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) and the former spokesman for the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) are both insane...

The most drug tested athlete in the history of sports (500 times/many surprise tests)...Never a positive hit
Now after years they have "conclusive evidence"...He MUST be guilty! Im sure the samples havent been tampered with at all....
Im not saying for 100% certainty that Lance didnt use EPO..If you read the "plausible" theories on how Lance "fooled" the system you will realize how ridiculous they are...
In the end if Lance cheated he is the cheakiest k*nt the world has ever known...But if you listen real close, you can hear them whisper their legacy to you. Go on, lean in. Listen, you hear it? - - Carpe - - hear it? - - Carpe, carpe Landīca, seize IT boys, make your lives extraordinary.

Testicular cancer brah checking in (although I've never touched sterons). Not sure about the validity of claimed link between atrophy like this and tezzy cancer. It'd surprise you how little is known about the causes of ball cancer.

Funny because the Fox News link is the one saying there is NOT a link between steroids and testicular cancer.
Idiots.

It's not like he was like I'm gonna give myself cancer then make a bunch of
Money. If it was self induced it was an accident you act like he did it on purpose. He has done a lot of good through his cancer donations and helped alot of people deal with cancer. In my opinions his goods out weigh his bads.No one cared who I was before I put on the calves.

My cousin's husband has had it on and off for many years now, which is part of what piqued my interest in learning about it.
Again, if anyone wants to actually learn about it, read the document I posted a few posts above. The interview I mentioned in the original post is interesting, too, in terms of explaining why everyone at that level is on gear.
