no. actually more of our debt is due to all the tax cuts on the rich than it is due to the war. and that was Bush, a republican but more importantly a moron.
edit: at least Obama is making legit efforts. But here is an unfortante truth: no one really knows whats best for this country. if problems arent fixed within a short time then the president will always be blamed/criticized.

ITT: A bunch of people who are worth less than 2 million dollars in assets hoping a republican gets elected...
I never understood how people were so obsessed with voting republican despite the fact that they're not in the tax bracket to benefit. *I don't know how the party does it, but*they're*masterminds and I applaud them for being able to trick the masses into voting for them and helping support the lavish lifestyle I do lol -.-

because liberalism has been associated with young retarded kids who voted for obama because they felt like they could make history rather than choose an apt president. ty fox. you have made conservatism seem like the white man's party when its really the rich man's party
you're making it sound like he's trying to **** us in the ass... just because his bills didn't magically poof the economic crisis away doesn't mean he isn't trying to fix it.

so.... obama wants you to go into the supermarkets and take whatever you want?
the main different between fascism and socialism is that while lenin believed that communism would happen like a dominoe effect, mussolini wanted more violent reform....
what goes through your mind? do you think you can be right in an argument without sufficient knowledge? wtf?

It's a shame people are too busy with ******** and other BS to read a god damn book. I can't imagine it'd be that difficult to at least read one book every 2 months about politics/economics or something of value and not Harry Potter/Twilight.

You are still ruled. Some guy in some corporate office somewhere owns your soul. Regardless of what industry you work in, somebody owns your life, and any superiors you answer to are basically like a duke or other low level nobility to you. You don't even own the land you live on, you just pay below market rent to the government in the form of property tax.*
Nothing has changed since feudalism except in the most superficial of ways, I don't know why anybody even pretends anymore. You are a serf, I am a serf, everybody here is a serf and your votes do nothing.

If you taxed the rich 100% it wouldn't do anything. What makes you think the government wouldn't blindly spend that money like they have already done?
The government was established to protect our country. Not destroy it through taxing the rich. And making $250k doesn't make you rich, especially if you live in NYC, DC, or Southern Cal.

let me explain this to you. *The top earners of our country dont have to pay an income tax. *if youre making 1 billion dollars annually and are taxed at 10% then it would be 100 million bucks in tax dollars. *Now times that by the numbers of the highest earners in the US and you could see how NOT taxing the rich is stupid. *Its not like multi-millionaires are will be taxed 90% or something. *financially, its retarded to*impose*a 28% tax the guy making 200k when you could tax the multi billionaire 10% and get a whole lot more.*
