hey I was just wondering if this will help me cut. I know I should be having casein before bed but I don't have any and I will be getting some tomorrow

If it helps you reach your caloric/macro goal then it's fine. You don't need casein before bed, or any slow digesting protein. Just get enough protein throughout the day and you'll be golden.

This. Controversial to what most might think (and what supplement companies want you to believe), catabolism of the muscles doesn't happen as quickly as it's made out to be. This is mainly because of the consumption of mixed macros in each meal, which would pretty slow down the digestion of nutrients to the point where even slower digesting protein won't provide any more benefit than simply being aware of protein macros throughout the day.
