There must be one, huh? I am finding that ever since I started eating more mini meals per day and doing a lot of cardio, I am constantly hungry. And for now I am not thinking this is a bad thing because i am thinking that my metabolism has finally sped up and I can have more food, in fact, I need more food to keep it going. Its almost like saying that the hungrier I am, the better...... To all the advocates of "you have to eat more to lose weight," thank you! Now if I can only find some energy...
i reckon it will just take some time for everything to get back into balance now.....your body is probbaly just saying "food, I remember that, I'll have some more please"
one thing I have found that helps with hunger is to focus on protien (real meat) at each meal. for me at least it stops me from being hungry.
thats all i eat is protein. I think my body is telling me I need some carbs, which is why i have zero energy. I think I'll just take another crappy xen efx to see if that'll do anything. doubtful.

fat works as a great appetite suppressant, filling up your tummy alot quicker than carbs would. fat gives you a full feeling, whereas carbs make you feel weighed down. if your goal is to lose fat, don't increase your carb intake. increase your fat. moderate your protein and lower your carbs.

is protien your fuel ?
you know that your fuel should be either carbs or fat right ? if one of them isn't your fuel then your extra fuel is your muscle.
well I'd like to think that my protein is my muscle preserver and my fats are my fuel. My carbs are low so they cant possible be my energy, but I certainly dont restrict my fats.

do you know what your daily consumption is for fat & protein in grams?
Originally posted by as0l0 if carbs are less than 50 grams, then fat is your fuel and your diet is keto...
in this case your fats should be 50% or more.
or such is my understanding.....
ok yeah. I need to get my fats up a bit more and my potein down a bit then in terms of percentages. I've been using fitday every day now to keep track of things and try to get the ratios right. Let me see if I can get the fats higher tomorrow but still keep the other things in check. My fats have been just under 50% so it shouldnt be too hard to manipulate to get those up above 50. thanks
