Mercury content: Talapia and chunk light tuna?

Just picked up some talapia fillets and was wondering about the mercury levels in it. Am I good to be eating 4-8 ounces of it a day on top of one can of chunk light tuna?

Since the Tilipia is farm raised I would expect it to have minimal amounts of mercury. Large wild fish have high mercury because of their long life span spent eating other fish, the mercury builds up in them.

tilapia and canned tuna both have very low levels of mercury. one fillet and one can shouldn't be an issue. "safe" people would roll with one or the other in a day but honestly, you shouldn't have issues having a can and a fillet.
