the hype surrounding this is no joke. my strength gains are better than anything ive experienced before, aesthetics are going up. fuarking amazing. try this routine, you won't regret it.
a question to the people who are saying this routine is really hard for them, that you get really sore, etc.: what were you doing before? I haven't noticed any difference in soreness and I kill it in every workout. I hardly ever get sore nowdays lulz.

Do you guys do the exact exercises that are listed or did you make it your own?

Been on it for about 2 months now and LOVE IT!
Typically I'm a hardgainer but I've put on about 6 lbs of lean mass in 8 weeks which I couldn't do to save my life before. Might go to a different routine in a month or so to switch it up again but I will definitely be coming back to this routine.
To add you don't have to follow his set by set...you should switch it up to what fits you best. Most important thing is to keep it simple on heavy days with compound exercises and lower reps.*LSU crew*

I've seriously considering doing this program. Has anyone added regular deadlifts to this? I love them, and would like to continue improving on that lift. I know he says to put them on your lower power day as the power movement instead of squats (or alternating between the two)- has this worked for you?*

i do regular deadlifts every month or so because usually i'm too exhausted to do regular deadlifts after heavy squats. i smashed my old rep max by 20 pounds after not deadlifting for 2 months so i would say that you don't necessarily have to deadlift every week to see strength gains

On week three now and have broken through my previous plateaus. Was doing one body part a week before doing PHAT. Loving it right now. This past week I added deads on my hypertrophy leg day. Wouldn't have enough energy if I do deads on any of the strength days, but find it fits well with hypertrophy leg day for me. I made a few tweaks to the routine like doing bench and adding incline db on strength upper body, and doing weighted pull-ups for my main strength and speed exercise for back. Seems like the speed work is helping for the big three: deads, squats, and bench; they all seem much easier now.
